These respiratory flow sensors, equipped with three or four thermal elements, are positioned directly under the nostrils to precisely measure the temperature differences in the breath. They generate an analogue voltage that provides a reliable representation of the respiratory flow. The 1471 sensor has been specially developed for use with the Alice 5 system and can be connected to the thermal airflow input.
