Ground electrodes are an essential accessory for interference-free EMG measurements and contribute significantly to signal quality. They reduce electrical noise and artifacts by reliably grounding the patient, ensuring the recording of clinically usable measurement values. Without a correctly placed ground electrode, precise EMG results are difficult to achieve.
